Last week both Leeds and Bradford were awful and yet conspired to win their close games. Wigan have been awful for 2 weeks and conspired to lose their games.
This is the same post as last week!
And the same as last week our number 8 is a pudding, 10 is a show pony and Fletcher is no centre.
The signing have yet to prove themselves and higham has added nothing to the squad as he is not as good as Godwin.
We'll wait and see .....but I told you so last season.
Seriously though, I think our problem is pressure. Playing for Wigan is the biggest deal in Superleague. It has the highest exposure and expectations and even when we are comfortably in the lead we are still mentally fragile, just like last year.
Millwards biggest challenge is to get the players to relax. How he is going to do this God only knows.
Jimmy is correct. Look how they tie up in attack when the nerves start getting to them and so forth. Mind you why they bother to play for some of our supporters beggars belief :doz:

It's obvious higham isnt an 80minute player, but at the moment he doesnt appear to be a 40minute player but Godwins pace from the ruck is amazing and his ability to squeeze through gaps would be great if we had more support. Reckon Higham should be tried at half back if TAP's having a play about, Higham and Godwin on the field would have the opposition in a fluster.
Worrying as it is MrsCarney but I can feel myself agreeing with you 100% on this posting

Can anybody clear it up? Was Orr injured ? or droped?
Orr was dropped. If you look at the Sporting Life web site reports it confirms Orr was dropped.
Dave
But at the beginning of the Sky presentation they said he had not recovered from the bug he had picked up in France before the game which was why he was a bit off the pace in that game as well, if we want a tackling scrum half come back Luke Robinson, all is forgiven.

"Millward confirmed that stand-off Danny Orr, who was ill before the opening game in Perpignan, was dropped for the match."
I find it really upsetting to hear you all giving up on Wigan at such an early stage. I don't think for one second we will see a repeat performance of last season because we are much better side this season. In my opinion we are not a million miles off the mark and i would go as far as saying, Wigan might prove a lot of the doubters wrong at the end of the season.
The truth is this: We are in DESPERATE need of a quality ball distributor at stand-off, and it is this reason only that the centres are looking a little underwhelming in attack. Quite simply there is no one to give a quality timed pass from the middle, which can put the centres in space. If you watch, the centres and wingers are having to come to acting half-back to get involved in the game. This for me is the Key to becoming a very successful team!
I also feel that we are still lacking a bit of experience, and someone who can talk the team forward. This will come from Fletcher i believe!
For the critics of Moran, without him we would be in a dier situation. He has no geniune partner at half-back and is trying so hard week-in week-out by himself.
A quality stand-off would solve all our problems, the pack is very strong and has a lot of depth. i thought Hansen was very good last night despite one poor tackle which led to a try. With Fletcher on boeard the pack will be even stronger.
Calderwood, i thought had a solid game last night and i think as he builds an understanding with his centre, will score a lot of points for us.
The point is this, Wigan are not as bad as everyone is making out, and will suprise a lot of people towards the back end of the season!

What the hell are you on about? What do you mean "all giving up"? The only one you could level that at is WNAC. Most people are actually saying the same thing as you re the stand off situation. Are you the only one allowed to offer comment?
