But it was the club's heaviest Super League loss since going down 70-0 to Leeds in June 2005, eight days before their club's all-time heaviest defeat, 75-0 to St Helens in the Challenge Cup.
Look at the first home SL game on Wigan TV and compare the players playing for both Wigan and Wire in that game compared to what we get these days.

Superleague has hit rock bottom this season
The argument always used to be that we had the best product with the worst advertising, but to be honest im not sure our product is that good anymore, most matches are boring decided by who makes most mistakes rather than massive clashes.
I remember the wigan/leeds/bradford/saints games any of those teams playing each other you knew you were in for a good game

I was a dirty so and so in competitive games so in training I simply played a 25% of what I would normally do. Also, if we are constantly told players play too many games then why are we adding to it with 'real' training games. Back in my fathers day, Wigan practised set moves time and time again until they were perfect; I do not recall any mention of full contact training; even in the 80's and 90's defenders in drills often tackle d with pads / shields.

At that time it was evident players were not playing for Agent Millward. Is there more to this hammering then meets the eye? Players should not "give up" as they reportedly did in this match in the second half.
And yet again three times final kicks were taken by forwards with Smith out of position again

What evidence other than SW saying we will work hard in training is there to suggest we are over physical in our training?
Him saying it alludes to it.
Him saying they are going to work hard does not mean physical contact!! My hardest training sessions have involved no physical contact whatsoever!!
But you need time to recover after.
Look at how many injuries we have almost half is missing from the starting line up something is not right for that to happen.

I am not saying our training regimes are perfect, what I am saying is people jump on throw away comments in the media and make assumptions about our training!! If anyone knows exactly what happens please tell us...!!

Fair point TB but whatever we are doing we seem to pick a hell of a lot of injuries doing so.
