Ironically Wane complains when it goes against us when we lose that the game is too slow and then complains when the win and the game sees penalties for slowing the game down. The moment referees start punishing teams more you will see a transformation because nobody wants repeat sets and time in their own half. If it means Wigan have to change then so be it (personally I think we could be better for it) BUT if SL as a whole changes for the better then so be it.

Do we want games like Friday or marathon slogs of slow POTB.
Can't agree with that. Hicks was shocking on Friday, dreadful.

The PTB in SL is an absolute farce.

You are correct, the PTB is a shambles but that is down to the players and the coaches. When referees penalise teams for offences around the PTB they get slated instead of being given credit in trying to speed up the game.

Well said CP!

Surely we have to have more games like that rather than the sub standard tripe served up for most of the season, a few cards and penalties handed out and an edict or two for red hall explaining this is what we want can only be good for the game.

It is dreadful win or lose when the games are like 99% we see in 2016. Worse, you get players like Sam T having the ump with Bilko for stating the obvious, at a guess tepeated by the fans surve too.
