I presume it was locked for the very reason of your thread creating post Kitwazzer.
SW created the thread and badgered me for one thing and one thing only. He is desparate to know where I get my information from. In none of his posts did he debate any issues and he made a ridiculous claims like he and the player would me in person and disclose players salary information. NO player would do so. Remember this is SW who previously said the players are 'too professional to even discuss salaries amongst themselves'
You have to ask yourself why somebody with so few posts would start posting vociferously on a thread that he claims is totally absurd. Maybe just maybe he was reeled in by the fact that rather than being absurd the figures quoted were very close to the mark. Hence his agenda is where did I get the information from.
When asked to discuss the salary cap, even put figures up for the top 5 salaries (no names) SW started making excuses. Ask yourself why? 1.6 million is not a huge amount of money for an organisation to divide its salaries up into. Yet SW has not explained himself and not debated any issues. We even get the petty deflecting tactic of talking nonsense.
I actually think KW and SW you should have respected the intention of Geoff N as a moderator.

I don't take sides, the locking was nothing to do with any perceived winner/loser in the argument, but when a thread degenerates into petty sniping between two people, it's going nowhere, and as SW said, would be better continued via PM's.
SW wrote:Anyway I am sick of this thread now. If you ever feel like meeting with your numerous sources to discuss it further please contact me by way of private messaging.
If you two want to have a reasonable debate without resorting to personal name-calling and point-scoring, I'm quite happy to let this one run...

you make it up as you go along if it makes you feel better. I want to meet with you and said players to rubbish your claims and to make peole aware of what rubbish your posting not to get them to disclose salaries. I am not prepared to give the top 5 earners wages because its not my place to do so. Why do you need to know? Dont you just want to enjoy the game as a fan? Is it your business how much they earn? Do they owe you money.
I have grave concerns about you my friend. I pretty much think your source would be your source no longer if they realised that you make a lot of stuff up.
Latest up date from the Wigan Camp - some of the boys are still asleep! its all a giggle isnt it! Shall I ask what colour underwear they are putting on and if its connected to their salaries ?????
Listen we can argue all day , I know your good at it. But its becoming boring. Just accept your wrong about the salaries of my relative and co or meet with all parties to discuss this rubbish. End of.

I am sorry Geoff, but your friend brings out the absolute worst in me. I have asked him to back up his comments once and for all. He has no insight into his behaviour on this board or to the potential trouble he might cause by saying "just checked with my source" who is "a player". I am willing to drop to it on this website but will pursue it in other ways both legal and professional! I think a word need to be had at the club as a "duty of care" as a warning to protect players personal private information.

This argument long since ceased to be about salaries, it is about who has the best 'insider information' and CPW obviously feels that someone on here with a relative in the squad represents a threat to his perceived unquestionable authority, such as it was!

KW stirring the pot but lacking the guts to do things himself. Classy and the very reason why threads get locked. Look at your posts, petty name calling and insults, questioning moderator decision making. Grow a set and grow up.
SW threatening legal action because he is the cousin of a nameless player lol. Making ludicrous suggestions, not debating any issue, not putting forward any arguments. All this over a salary cap figure that supposedly is completely wrong. Now would you be making child like threats if it was so. I would be lol.
Anything I post is checked by the people that tell me. Anything I post is done so with their permission. I get told things and told not for publication.
Me, I could not care less who posts what, whose supposedly bigger and better than anybody else. I posted in a thread from the onset and suddenly half way through we get personal attacks from SW and a gutless KW (Sorry KW but the truth is just that)
The original thread creator was closer to the truth than he was given credit for. Discussing salaries is a very BRitish past time. Look at the bonuses for bankers, discussion of NHS trust managers salaries/pay rises.
Congratulations KW for a gutless attempt at baiting that will probably get locked and is pointless just as much as Stuart Fielden's mother SW posting here and making ludicrous threats. Only one agenda Mrs Fielden, wanting to know where information comes from. Concentrated on the table tennis, something you can read in a newspaper BTW just as you could have read Mickey Higham liked to win the darts competitions.
Pointless thread.

your unreal. I said i will go about my business legally - not anything about taking legal action!!! You are really reacting odly - everyone knows Mrs Fielden died in 2006 how insensitive are you??. I have not made any threats. I am going to find out who you are in a professional and legal manner.
You really twist things to suit your self. Are you really suggesting I have read up about the table tennis competition

You cant stand to think I am actually related to a player and can discredit your rubbish claims. I have just been told that Tommy is possible not playing today because his ankle is sore. Where could i possible have got that information from?
