What was the reason though. I didn't agree with a lot that he wrote but still looked forward to reading it. There were times he went OTT but thought he'd calmed down a bit lately. think the mods should issue a statement to clarify

Can you give me some examples. Seems like one rule for moi and a different set of rules for everybody else. My PMs are even ignored
We have just run out of patience with your attitude towards other users dominating the forum. It has become tedious and it is driving the majority of posters away. The board is becoming quieter and quieter and it can’t go on. So we have taken this action

Still a bit pointless. All it takes is a different user name!
i find it funny that the mods have banned sombody for having an opinion different to the mods and agree that other mods should step aside. accusing 1 user of driving people away from a forum were opinions about the club are suppose to be welcomed is just a joke
send your thoughts to Mike before someone deletes the post or at least copy and paste them somewhere. Good to see another side and would be nice for Mike to see it too.

It was Mike, the site owner, who instigated the ban. He asked the opinion of other mods about it first but had come to the conclusion the personal comments in many of CP's posts were driving people away from the site (in a nutshell) as traffic was down. CP was informed by email of this decision when he was banned by Mike but has taken to posing as someone else to get back on the site. Make of that what you will.
I am sure will will see another "new" member arrive soon.

lets hope so it'll be pretty one sided if everyone who disagrees with some of the tripe you spout gets banned.
