He is without doubt a good player but I have said it for years, in the truly big games he is always found wanting!!
Was the 2010 grand final not a truly big game?
I never saw him wanting in that game for one second.
He done the job he was asked to do and he done it well!!
I've watched him against Roby closely from that day forward and Roby has had one decent game against Mac since that date.
The 2013 Grand Final against Warrington and again a sterling effort in a big game.
You can't be Mac's No1 fan coming out with that TBW.

He will have to resign from the fan club. Either that or his account has been hijacked.

If that is a result of an injury he's been carrying it explains a lot.

Never mind about MM needing to improve, the whole 9 interchange has to improve, especially away from home.
When MM goes off and we bring a man off the bench to dummy half we lose intensity, initiative. Then we repeat it in the second half when MM returns and usually go on to lose the game. Grief, we saw some absolute rubbish played away from home last season and it needs sorting big time.

We need massive changes to get the improvement we need to win more away games next season.
Get it sorted and it's Trophy time again, don't sort it and another barren year beckons.

This happens at home as well. Wane takes Mac off on the 20 min mark as regular as clockwork.

Not only do the replacements not offer anything much but if Wane doesn't think opposition coaches are waiting for this substitution and will respond with a change of tactics themselves he is living in dream land.

You can set your watch by it and everyone knows what happens when Mac goes off, including the opposition.

If we are going to persist with the inadequate replacements at least don't be so predictable about it
