I can recall 2.

MM for 2014
ST for 2012
Where they training ground injuries?
WHERE HAVE I SAID TRAINING GROUND INJURIES. GOT TO SHOUT BECASUE YOUR REAL JUST JUMPED AT WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR.

What I said is training the cause of injuries that happens due to over physical and not enough recovery. I have not one stated our injuries occurred in training but was training the catalyst for what came after.

Victory came almost 12 months to the day since they themselves (Wakefield) suffered a humiliating defeat, 80-0 at Warrington - and they left the field to a standing ovation.

Alex this week yes, before that? Bubonic plague

Time and time again you listen to Wane wearing it like a badge of honour; we train far harder than other teams, new players are shocked blah blah blah

I prefer players flogging themselves to win real games not for kicks in training. I is quite ironic as Wane was outed by John Monie as someone whose own prep was poor.
I only ever recall new signings saying pre-season was tougher and considering most wanted us to sack off America for a tougher pre-season it seems like a little contradiction!!

So like I said at the business end of the season when has training caused injuries to stop our players playing?

I can accept any excuse you want to afford however, it is still garbage to say you accept a 62-0 beating at the hands of Wakey. Saints or Wire to an extent I can understand but that :baaa:
I'm totally with you here, this has been coming for a while. It's a pity when it did come, we were so weakened it gives SW and co a credible excuse. I love Wigan Rugby and it is so heartbreaking to see this club going backwards and it is only the overall standard of SL that is disguising by how much. I am not talking about how we dominated in the 80's I am talking about the quality of play that is synonymous with the Wigan name. We have not seen any understanding of game management or any regular classy play for a number of seasons now. Yes we have reached GF's but only because the lack of depth of opposition has been so poor. I want to see Wigan score just aboutevery time we start a set of six inside the opposition 30 metres, last season and this season this is where we are clueless and for me that is not Wigan Rugby

Said it re training too TB.

I do agree though, most fans are happy when the players are flogged in training, particularly pre season. I think you can train hard but still train smart. I do not recall Madge suffering so many injuries or even happily allowing the squad to be weakened. I can recall Piggy training harder under Madge but it was very tailored and specific, whereas before he had simply not taken part in large parts of sessions.

I have never believed that Wanes methods were an issue until I looked at statement the following day. How many players have we got that are injured and how many are injured through over training.

MM was unluck broken ankle but some of the others I do wonder if its the over training that is the root cause of it.
Not that old chestnut again TBW will spew his tea up!! :)
Stalker alert!

As for the comment from Gimble, our injuries have occurred during games this season unless you can prove otherwise then it's a mute point!!
And there it goes!!

I am on about the injuries now and the post both of us have posted in the last hour. I know ST was nothing to do we the club at all though which was awful.

I am not saying things are right, but the point I am making is it is easy to jump on something else to blame when really posters are basing their argument on a few quotes in the media!!
