The Warriors and Saints again look set to prove that they possess the ‘biggest derby in rugby league’ when the two sides meet during the Millennium Magic event on Saturday with both clubs leading the way in advance ticket sales and the Warriors selling more tickets than any other club for the event.

I think 2 good wins has raised confidence as well, just proves what we know, that Wigan Fans are the best in the world.

I however am struggling to be able to watch it let alone go i have a wedding on the sun and a meal the night before praying theres a pub nearby to check out the game :(

I know some people like to go to exotic tropical beaches to get married these days, but going to the sun is just a bit too extreme. The wedding cake will melt long before the happy couple have had a chance to cut it...

The RFL are predicting around 25k for both days. Less than impressive, I'd have thought; I wonder how many "locals" will be there, since that seems to be the main aim of the exercise.

I think the same article referenced around 10,000 turning up on the day from the Welsh "local contingent" for the challenge cup. Can't see it for this though.....

If you work on the same proportions (i.e 25,000 representing about a third of capacity) then you might expect 3-4000 turning up on the day?

Still going to look mighty empty though.... I think one guy on here suggested they might close the top tier to concentrate numbers around the lower and middle tiers...this may improve the atmosphere?
