I don't mind whoever gets the number 3 shirt between Aspinwall and Hodgy because they're both good players.

However, should Chairman Mo wish to bring another centre in, I hope it isn't an overseas player I would prefer someone like Gareth Ellis from Wakefield or Adam Hughes from Widnes.

Has no one else noticed that last night the entire 'Bulls' three quarter line was foreign. They had 6 overseas players, we had 3 playing and if we still have our usual 4 players next season with all this backrow talent coming thru, Kevin Brown and Danny Orr to come in at half back, and Danny Sculthorpe who remains our best ball playing prop (should have been in the side last night instead of a cameo appearance from Mark Smith) it remains difficult to see why we need a new overseas player at all unless Dallas leaves or Adrian is going to be out too long with this knee operation, at his age is it worth it?

Of course its worth it. His operation will leave him out of training for most of the winter and then he'll be back training with them towards Challenge Cup time (Gonna win it)
and you know Lammy'll catch up with fitness quick enough and be back to his best again.

Personally i dont think that we need to sign ne 1 else and i think that the squad should be something like this:

1 radlinski
2 dallas
3 aspinwall
4 johnson
5 carney
6 orr
7 lam (presuming everything goes ok with knee)
8 o'connor
9 newton
10 c.smith
11 cassidy
12 tickle
13 farrell
14 hodgeson
15 o'loughlin
16 sculthorpe
17 m.smith
18 pongia
19 wilde
20 robinson
21 briscoe
22 hock
23 allen
24 brown
25 roberts

Pretty similar to this season

I'd agree with your squad apart from I'd give Dodgy the number 4 spot and push Johnson to 14. After all, Johnson has been used mainly as a forward this season.

There was talk earlier this year that we would only have two overseas players next season (Dallas and Craig Smith) though this of course was before we signed Pongia and was when they expected Lam to leave.

The youngsters like Aspinwall have got a full season behind then now and there's Kevin Brown who is lucky to even make the bench.

I think they may stick with it, because if the season had only started 3 months ago, then we would win it and there's every reason to believe that next year we'll go one better.
