wire fans

Post by the_cow »

well, all i can say is what a sad bunch of *beep*

not only did i witness some dressed in stereotypical french attire wearing cats shirts but then i left warrington to witness 4 wire fans stood on a footbridge across the road waving 'bye-bye' to the wigan fans... to buy a ticket, cats shirt and beer must have set them back the best part of £100- obviously warrington is going up in the world these days.

how sad can you get? all those years of winning sweet f.a. must have made them very bitter and twisted
NOBLE OUT PLEASE- YOU'VE HAD TIME AND NOW MY PATIENCE HAS RUN OUT!

IT'S ONE THING TO LOSE, IT'S ANOTHER TO PLAY DIRE AND BORING RL AND THEN LOSE!

And I'd like the congratulate the wire fans on supporting a club that has won sweet **** all in recent memory and doesn't look like changing - it's things like that which help Wigan fans feel better on days like these!

Oh and I also enjoyed the chants of w****y w****y w****y warrington at the end!

Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds

it's the only way warrington will ever have anything to do do with the challenge cup in the latter stages is to hold a semi-final
English by birth. Wigan by the grace of God.

Does this mean no Wigan fans will be going to Wembley supporting Les Catalans, because that would be childish! Hmmm.

We were having a good laugh with a bunch of them in the pubs before the game. In Catalan shirts, trying to speak French with a scouse accent, it was hilarious!

You've got to (grudgingly  ) hand it to their club as well as I went in one of the club shops looking for a programme and right by the door is a rack full of orange and yellow flags and tee shirts specially done for todays game. Always one eye for the main chance but its all income for their club as well and shows some initiative that we seem to be lacking lately.
Think by and large it was all good humoured stuff but one guy I saw looked a but confusing in his Warrington shirt with his Catalans flag and a dubious looking female with him in a Saints shirt.
At least we made a lot of other fans happy today!
