Vaealiki....... 2nd row?

Post by - psycho - »

i watched the footage back (pained me). and i've been studying vaealiki for a few weeks now, it's getting more and mroe clear to me that he is built to be a secodn rower.

if he bulked up just a bit more, he could easily do it. he makes good yards forward, he isn't short of pace but for me he doesn't seem to have the ability or speed or brains of a centre. he runs the ball in hard like a second rower.

like i said, bit more bulk and he could easily play there. jsut watch him in games, the yards he makes us when he runs with the ball.

Exactly.
Only thing we would lack is offloads which we would get from fielden and hock if he is on.
Wouldnt be a bad thing would it. Cant go wrong taking ball straight up the middle without looking for silly offloads.

Same with bailey.

surely he'd save money to :eh:

if we get him signing a enw contract (much lower wage of course) then we could mvoe goulding into centres and buy a new one.

then we'd have hock and bails in secodn row, and vealiki on the bench backing up the forwards and backs.

quite sensible if you ask me.

Is there no way we can all put our ideas etc down and send them to wigan ?

Would also be good way to show that we are still backing club etc even though we are in such a bad perioud.

noble is going to a riversiders meeting isn't he? couldn't we get a representative from the boards to gather all ideas and just refresh them to people at the meeting?

if this is the case, why don't you rip up all 13 contracts from starting team?

i don't think it can be argued that DV has stepped up this season and has played his part well.
