I think Bentham had a fantastic game tonight.

It was an extremely difficult game to referee that one tonight, with more or less every penalty that Bentham blew his whistle for, being warranted.

He got the yellow cards spot on, while the only thing he did miss was the leading elbow.

A great game from Phil Bentham!! :eusa2: :eusa2:

Are we getting to a situation where everyone blames the ref for a lose. I watched the 2nd half both yellows were waranted.

1. Professional foul if that was Calderwood running everyone of us would be shouting for a card.

2. They had been warned and he was high.

Have to disagree about the second 1. He was warned however, he was warned for a tackle in which he was elbowed in the kisser and when the video ref saw it he told Bentham who put it on report. It was a lazy arm, no malice and barely mjade contact. Thought he was having a good game until the 2 yellows.

Why did Raynor carry on with the play then? Didnt think you could quick tap anymaore so either he was playing on or its was a pointless act.

Still it was still an overall good performance.

Raynor did not carry on he was dong what Calderwood does running to the 20 meter line to restart.

Correct; no difference from the Stacey Jones sin-binning against us in the semi, and I didn't hear much criticism of that.

Wakey had been messing about all game, and had two team warnings before then.
