Meanwhile, Wigan chairman Maurice Lindsay is in hospital recovering from a perforated gall bladder.
Lindsay, who recently made the decision to retire from rugby league at the end of the season, was rushed to hospital at the weekend and underwent emergency surgery.
A club spokesman said: "Maurice will be discharged from hospital in the near future and desperately wants to be present for the St Helens home game on September 14."

His health is the main priority but it would be nice to have him against Saints for the final time in his official capacity.

A win against stains for Mo would indeed be a fitting farewell if he can make it. Get well soon Mo
Exactly what I was thinking
Get well soon

Interviewer: So that obviously means that you're not going to St Helens and you're not going to Leeds?
Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds

Version 1 - A win would cap what Uncle Mo has done for wigan since 1978 or so... making them better than everyone else with Saints the team in 2nd (arguably leeds in early 1990s...)
Version 2 - A loss would show us all what Mo has done for rugby league... he made wigan great (with help) but what he helped to achieve with the RFL means St helens are 'the' team in the modern era
