Hudds halfs next season
Now the Giants have signed Luke Robinson for next season, they are excited he is going to pair up with Kevin Brown.
What do we think this could have been our half back pairing if we'd kept them both?

Salford is the scrum half for the side that has been relegated. Huddersfield have largely been run around the field by Drew. Brown plays as little more than an extra centre - with extra comedy knock-ons (like the one from the penalty against us). Neither has a decent kicking gameWiganWarrior posted:

Re: Hudds halfs next seaso...
Brown plays well of the moves created by drew, but i feel once drew is out the picture he will struggle. Robinson is very hit and miss he can be outstanding but doesn't seem to have developed at all since playing for us, still makes the same schoolboy errors and his game has not matured. I think its an unstable partnership and i would liken it to the Orr and Moran partnership we had

Re: Hudds halfs next seaso...
That plank who coaches Huddersfield was talking about these two as "the GB half-back pairing of the future".
What future will this be?
We should get real to the fact that Brown and Robinson are not just talented kids any more. Both have been in SL for several seasons now, and I've seen little or no improvement in their game from when they really were kids.
Both can be dangerous on their day, but which SL player can't? Robinson runs around like a headless chicken a lot of the time, and Brown is still prone to making horrendous errors.
At a time when British RL is notably lacking in skilled halfbacks, you'd have thought, if these two were so promising, that they'd have staked their claim by now. But I know of no-one (outside Huddersfield) who has even contemplated including these two in a GB starter line-up.
They're no loss to us.

Totally agree. These pair of over-rated clowns are no loss to Wigan & if they are the future half bsck pairing for GB then it will be a long time until we even get close to beating the aussies & kiwis
