yeah ive just seen it to. Big loss to rugby league but can catalan cope without him, he seemed to be the player who kept the team going.

If its anything like his retirement from New Zealand he will be back playing again next season.
Although if he has finally retired from the sport then I wish him all the best because he is one of the best rugby league players in the world.
It will be interesting to see how Catalans go with out Jones because Wigan could be in the same situation when Barrett leaves.

The best NZ player ive seen and a great player. Pity we never got him as he was a special one.

What a player he would have been, to have in our ranks! In his prime of course. Still a far better "general" than most other scrum halves currently running around the British game.thegimble posted:

Spot on, he destroyed us in the cup his kicking is excellent. I think he's hgot another year in him.

Will be interesting to see who fills the no. 7 berth in the tri-nations for NZ. I wonder if TL will join the ranks of our other NZ international stars that cannot get into the team!
