salford may not be relegated. say that whithaven or halifax go to the GF and win salford will not be relegated accdording to the rfl because halifax's ground is not up to standard halifax will get £100,000 but no prommoation to me it sounds like the rfl are making it up as they go along

This has been the case for the last couple of years, the winners of can take 100,000 rather than go up to super league, halifax have stated they dont want to go up and go full time, whithavens ground is not up to it.

Thats correct Whithavens ground is not SL standard and Halifax waived the option for promotion with £100.000 prize .

Back to reality. Surely Cas or Widnes (Hopefully) will be the GF winners making this scenario irrelevant.

If by some freakish results they do not, I'd love to see the RFL handle that one.

Salford have already lost players so would they have a right to claim them back (those not out of contract such as Robinson, not Coley whoose contract ended anyway)?
