My ears are still ringing!

Got anything else on your mind that isn't about the Warriors? If you do, this is the place to post.

My ears are still ringing!

Post by FROM A TO B »

Joan Jett, Motorhead and Alice Cooper last night.
JJ were very slick and did a good show.
Motorhead were, well, MOTORHEAD. no finesse, no subtlety, just out and out rock.
Alice Cooper, pure 100% entertainment, played a blinder and the usual superb stage show.

Only thing is I can't hear a thing at the moment
Warrior came
Warrior saw
Warrior conquered
Warrior came
Warrior saw
Warrior conquered

I'm mainly a Rock fan but I went watching Ian Durys old band The Blockheads the other week with Phil Jupitus on vocals. Absolutely blinding gig but talk about loud!!!! They made AC/DC sound quiet. Couple of older people had to go in to the foyer cos it was too loud in the venu (The Robin, Bilston).

My old band had a gig with the blockheads in BRadford No idea who the lead singer was at the time but it was no-one famous. The only song I knew was hit me with your rhythm stick.
Gareth Thomas before his first game: "You wanna spend 10 mins getting smashed up by these guys..Big dudes here.."

Current singer is Derek the Draw. He and PJ shared vocals at the gig I went to.
