Warrington prop Steve Pickersgill has been ruled out for six months with an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Pickersgill was carried off midway through the second half in Sunday's defeat at Wakefield and tests have now revealed serious damage to his knee.

The 22-year-old will undergo a full reconstruction of the knee and will be out for a 'minimum' of six months.

hmmm.....didn't there 2nd no.9 get injured at the weekend also?

wont be too upset if injuries hit them badly!
