Gareth Hock who at his best is as good as SBW. So impressed that he has been able to play left and right second row in the same match. His display was sublime. Warrington could not handle him.

Second row is a position where we have an embarrassment of riches.

Tomkins was superb as well and the way he left Chris Hicks clutching thin air in his wake was fantastic!

Hock showed why he has been given his contract extension.

He has been criticized for giving away silly penalties and getting bans - however he wears his heart on his sleeve and I really feel that it galvanizes the side.

Hock is world class, everyone knows it. His only problem is his temperament and I think a captaincy could change that BUT...

O'Loughlin is our captain and should remain so..

We do have an embarrasement of riches in 2nd row we just need a good winger and centre possibly to compliment when Carmont leaves in 2/3 years times

Hock is a top player but cant believed he has been compared with sonny-bill williams. There is no player of either code in the world who is anywhere near him.

Why?

Hock is now playing on both sides of the field. SBW does not. Both offload, both run hard.

A back row of tomkins, hansen and hock would be frightening to play against.

When is baileys contract up ? Cant be doing with him in 2nd row. We need 2nd rowers on the pitch with the ability to break the line, offload, match deciding tackles.

Hock, Hansen, Mossop, Tomkins. Either at loose or 2nd row. Doesnt really matter. Wigans tactics make the loose forward a 3rd, 2nd rower.

He has the potential to be the best does sonny bill, but hes always out injured so is always building up consistancy and form and then hes out injured again.

Best player in league at the moment is probably billy slater or danny brough.
