It's already begun

Out with the British, in with the Aussies

Calders
Goulding,
Higham, going
Coyle
Flanagan
Tomkins, 5 tries on debut and then what ?
O'Carroll

What sort of message does this send to all Wigan youngsters ?
Certainly if i was Gouding i would be questioning my loyalty to Wigan after rejecting bigger offers elsewhere.

Goudling isn't good enough yet he is a liability in defence and is greedy when he gets the ball in attack. Goulding is only 20 so has plenty of time to work his way back into the squad in place of Phelps who might not even be at Wigan next season.

At this point in time I don't really care where the players come from as long as the best players are being picked, unfortunately that isn't happening e.g. Fielden, Mathers.

Personally i don't think Noble is a good coach at all and he brings in Aussies because he thinks they will cover up his deficiencies and get him results.
Put him at Quins where he has to actually develop no name players and then he would be even more exposed

That could be true, he filled his Bradford team with overseas players and seems to be doing the same at Wigan. It brought him success at Bradford but I think he sometimes forgets that he is now at Wigan and not at Bradford.

In terms of good coaches I think John Keer is outstanding, he is working miracles at Wakefield with averages players, no money and at the moment a big injury. He knows how to 'coach' a team.

He is crap - just because the club are "achieving" better results than thought possible, doesn't make him a "world beater". Although "Eclipses" link with the Quins is interesting as I think imo Brian McDermott appears to have the makings of a very good GB coach.

I remember after the loss to the Eagles in the CC. Wigan's very next game (surprise surprise) was against them at the Don Valley. Sat near him, his only tactics were to impede and slow down and generally "mess around" the rucks, in order to frustrate and try to achieve another victory. If this is the sort of "forward thinking" coach you want - you are welcome to him (don't forget he has already been at the club in some capacity and didn't enamour himself with "glory" then).

I didn't say that John Keer was a world beater, was just using him as an example of what the the right coach can do at the right club.

Noble at Bradford was a very good coach, Noble at Wigan isn't as good.

Get ready for the backlash from the head-in-the-sand brigade though. I dared to state that I thought BN was not the answer to our prayers a couple of months ago, and got lambasted for it.
