There are so many outlets though so it's hard to say how many fans of each club are going. People such as the group I am going with (all of which are Wigan fans) bought tickets from the RFL (I think) months ago. Some fans will have bought them direct from the JJB, others will have bought them from travel companies, others from the Millenium Stadium hotline, etc... etc... So we will just have to judge from the sea of Cherry and White (and blue!) that are there on 15th May.

I think what Rob means is the club may have sold 8500, but the club is not the only place to get tickets. As he mentioned we got tickets direct from the RFL and i would think most fans would as at the JJB they don't answer the phone and can make a queue of two last half an hour!
