I would have said he was because he generally ran things for Wakefield with a good kicking game and was inivolved in all things thst Wakefield did well on Friday night.
His only mistake was probably booting the restart in the 78th minute out on the full.
Contrary to my thread earlier last week saying how gobby he is, there was NO signs of that on Friday night from Brough.
Nice to see for a change from Brough!!!!
Was Danny Brough Wakefield's MOM On Friday??

Danny Brough is a ****house!
In my opinion that is an essential requirement of all the best scrum halfs in this game!!
It goes back as far as Tommy Bradshaw, continued by Alex Murphy and Andy Gregory. It is the scrum half's job to wind up the opposition.
Anyone remember the 1966 Challenge Cup Final???

The stand out performer from/for Wakefield on Friday night was Thaler - I am pretty sure he would have won Jon Kear's MOM by a country mile

Interviewer: So that obviously means that you're not going to St Helens and you're not going to Leeds?
Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds

So did I. My comment was meant as a compliment! For me, the more 'monkeyfied' a scrum half, the better!!turf wrote:Bit harsh Kittwazzer!!!!Kittwazzer wrote:Danny Brough is a ****house!

Oh, sorry Kittwazzer, I thought it was an insult to Brough.
Sorry for misunderstanding your post mate!!!
Anyway, I agree with you Kitwazzer, the more cheeky a scrum half it these days the better, i.e, Brough, don't you think????

Isn't it great to be able to say that we have got srcum halves like Brough who's quality and skill and mind set, can change a game in an instant.
Outside the Wigan squad (obviously ) Brough is my favourite player.
Every time Wakefield are on tv, I sit down, and watch in awe most of the time, as I watch the Danny Brough show.
