I have gone for Yes to Both.

The sponsor isnt an issue. If you get past the obvious piss-take of 'Bingo' which will stereotypically happen it is, IMO, a good shirt and sponsor.

People dont like change - since I was born we have had only JJB Sports, Energi* and Norweb - now enter a fourth modern one.

At first I thought the home shirt was quite white!

But if you think about it, it would look rediculous with all the colours of the sponsor logo not completely encased in white.

The shirt is ok, would have liked a proper collar but it's nice. My other half loves it so I'll definatley be buying it. :)

i like the pattern and style of the shirts but the logo is terrible and think they should have been tweaked it abit because of the colour and childish look.

plus will it be on childrens shirts because i know in soccer a club with a alcahol sponser cannont be put on the kids shirts. will be the same with a gambling sponser?

To my knowledge no. We will still have Mecca on the kids shirts. Bingo is a soft form of gambling, technically but doesnt count towards an advertising ban like alcohol, cigarettes or casino's...

We have had Tote on our shirts for years. We even play Bingo in schools, especially French classes. Maison!

Whats wrong with it Royton? the sponsor? Its because you're not used to colours apart from Black or blue on our sponsors kits. 21st Century now. why is there no pride?

That is my main complaint. It doesn't look so much designed to be like that but more like slapped on as an afterthought. Which might come to think of it not be far from the truth given they had to rush to get these out.

I know they are already working on a design for next years shirt so hopefully it will look a bit better in this respect.

Quite like the away shirt, the home is IMO awful, it is supposed to be cherry and white, not white with a bit of cherry. To me it looks more like a Hull KR shirt than a Wigan shirt.
The idea of the "replica" shirt being different is stupid.
I think IL knows he will sell a lot of these because obviously no one wants a shirt with a JJB logo given whelan's treatment of the team, but following up on the incredible marketing ploy of giving the fans a squad number by not then giving them space for it on the new shirts is ludicrous. Last year was the first time I bothered with a number on my shirt, I guess I wont be bothering with that this year.
Does anyone know if the club are still doing the retro shirt that was advertised in he catalogue sent out before Christmas, because if they are, I'm having one of those.
