Here we go again, If a player drops the ball, drops the ball, drops the ball. If a player with a rep drops the ball how can you shout sack the coach. If Smith, Phelps Roberts Riddel all drop balls and kill the play why shout sack the coach. Maybe the team is peed off because the FANS have been shouting for blood all closed season. Maybe the decenters on here ar a vocal minority. Take Mathers, did the fans back him, did they heck as like. He has had some shockers nder high balls. Did our loyal 18 wait for him to catch it did they heck as like. They barracked him hoping he would drop it to prove them right. It would not be beyond the realms of truth to speculate he tripped that player in anger at the treatment he recieved from his own fans. It is one thing getting slated it is another to have a set of fans waiting to pounce on every mistake. The fans are what the team plays for. You are the club. You hear the call "Go back to basics" It is time the fans went back to basics. If the team does not want to play for you. The team does not want to play. If you do not want the team to play for you. Carry on as you are going. They wear the shirt to play for rugby as gladiators to please the fans. Thats called pride. Without pride the game lacks effort. If the fans do not lift the players into that adrenilin zone so they put everything on the line, don't blame the coach, look in the mirror,

In yoiur place of employment you may be a professional but if the moral is low you are not going togive it 100%. Why should professional athletes be any diferent. After Hud disaster last year the player said they were doing it for themselves. If the fans constantly undermine the players why should they give 100% Get real and get behind the players, Jim

Its the coaches job to raise morale. I am assesed at work by the morale of staff at work and am managed if it falls and I dont put things in place to sort it.

Yes and if he is doing his job the constant baying for his blood inflicts itself on the players. You want Noble out because he is not doing his job, supposedly. you want the Aus. players out to make way for your own younsters. You percieve it as a right to win every game. The winning of every game means harmony. Fans+coach+players all pulling in the same direction. Wigan should win for the fans not in spite of them. Why complain if disillutionment and disaster is what you look for you are getting it in abundance. Me I just want to root for our team. Jim

If the cap fits. I am referring to those that seem to constantly bay for blood. Some love the team, some support the team, and some will only support it if it fits their image. If the fans are not behind the team the team moral is shattered. The fans can inflict more pain than the coach. Pull together or the boat will not go forward. Like the threads on here it will go round in circles. Noble cannot win. If we beat Cas it is because they are poor opposition. We beat stains, it's about time. We win the league it is in spite of Noble. This disaster thread started before the players were off the field at Hull. Let the team settle and I don't mean playing time I mean from the flack from the fans. At the moment your playmakers are wondering why sign for this shower of ungreatful so and sos.

Sorry Jim, no disrespect but I haven't read any of your post's on this thread.

Their is only ever one person who is deemed a failure when a team doesn't perform Right or wrong, that is a fact.

Noble has had more than enough time for things to improve the way we were told that they would when he first took charge. After 2 1/2years, the excuses (and lies) are wearing thin!

How would you feel if you were a Chelsea or Portsmouth fan, with both managers sacked literally after a handful of games in charge by comparison to Noble? Fans patience is running thin with him, that is fact, if he fails to address the teams problems, then someone else WILL be appointed who will
