Re: I am ashamed to be a Wigan supporter.
most who went are students, the rest have flexible working hours and others are wealthy/retired i wouldnt give them a free pie
but anyway
should never be ashamed to support Wigan no matter how shocking we are on the field.

I wasnt ashamed just embarassed. Glad I couldnt get yesterday off work otherwise would have been there and paid a fotune to watch them waste of spaces
Re: I am ashamed to be a Wigan supporter.
I totally agree with you God. I would be demanding a refund from the players wages after that display.
There's only Ainscough who I feel sorry for out of the entire squad. With a tool for a coach, and some dummies for team mates, I think he should go to another club where he will get to play week in, week out with something called RL players, something which none of our players have heard of clearly on tonight's standard.
The question is now, will we beat Celtic?

I hope the club does something to reimburse those who went.
Just remember certain posters will come on here and criticise you for criticising the club. Personally, it reminded me of the last days of Millward.

Re: I am ashamed to be a Wigan supporter.
I had a phone call from the club one evening last week asking why i hadnt renewed my season ticket this year - i made an excuse about work and money getting tight but i wish i had told the caller the truth - i just could not see were we were going this season with the players we have signed and didnt want to waste my time and money watching them get beat week in week out, and before i get slated for being a fair weather supporter I am a share holder in our proud club and dearly dont want to see them lose.
My biggest reason for being ashamed of our team is the complete lack of pride and effort, the middle 20 minutes of the second half just summed this lack of effort and pride up, noble was on the touch line watching the the team lazyily walk up to the scrum down on two occasions the camera showed noble as quiet as a mouse on the touch line.
Now for me that just sums up were this lazy no pride attitude comes from Noble, leadership should come from the top and for me the buck stops at the coach he's got no idea no pride and has no respect from either the players and now especially the fans.
Please please please mr lenegan get rid and bring a coach to our club who will bring some pride and reason back and show the players and fans what it means to be a Wigan player.

My comment speaks for its self.
Re: I am ashamed to be a Wigan supporter.
Dreadful performance, lacked any leadership or drive.Rarely have I seen a team so clueless going forward wearing the wigan shirt. It seems like the team do not have a clue how to rescue a game any more. This is down to Mr Noble and his lack of tactics etc.To single out any one player for criticism would be unfair when everyone of them lacked the desire or passion to win this game. You have had your time Mr Noble now do the decent thing and p**s o**.
