i heard that some one died at the southstand just before that match yesterday, if this is true my deepest sympathy to his family
does anyone know anything about this?

I saw the paramedics commmin in and taking someone out on a stretcher. Dont know if they had died but i hope not

Unfortunately according to the cherryandwhite site the person in the south stand did die last nite

Yes, I'm afraid so. Lovely chap, usually sits next to me...he'd just sat down then he passed out. The paramedic guys were brilliant but sadly it seems there was nothing they could do. That's why that entrance was closed about 1/2 an hour before kickoff.
