K Pryce Injured and Out

Post by cpwigan »

Pryce has dislocated his shoulder and will be out for 3 - 6 months.

The bitter cynic in me says "and the difference to the team will be ...". But that's not nice.

I hope he recovers well from the latest set back and finally gets onto his front foot.

I agree Rich but his weight baloons when he is not being flogged in training. Unless something dramatic happens it could be his last season at Wigan RLFC.

He is only 23 so still has plenty of time and has been very unlucky with injuries.

He should be back within 3 months unless there are complications, if I remember correctly the recovery period is about 6 or 7 weeks before he can start full training again.

Never did reach the potential shown at Bratfort.Personally I would not be sorry to see him go.Sad that he is injured nobody would wish him ill-will and all that. But lets be honest he as had long enough now being carried by the club.Enough is enough. He was a good player destined to be an excellent player and I do not think his move to yawnion did him any favours. But it was his choice to seek riches in the yawnion ranks, not that I blame him in trying to make an earning. :)

Training is now more intense and contact based under the new regime. I daresay injuries will happen. I will speculate that he was trying to make a tackle. Being so big it is hard for KP to get in the perfect body position when making textbook tackles and thus his joints etc are not supported to their optimum.
