O'Loughlin cautioned.

Post by ancientnloyal »

Three Super League players have received formal cautions over incidents at the Magic Weekend in Edinburgh.

Wigan's Sean O'Loughlin was punished for a high tackle on Huddersfield's Luke Robinson.

Salford's Stefan Ratchford has been cautioned for a dangerous throw on Warrington Wolves centre Ryan Atkins.

Catalans forward Olivier Elima was also disciplined after tackling Castleford's Paul Jackson - an offence, like the others, which stays on RFL records.
Well, only a caution for his legitimate cuddle of robinson.

[quote="TWO EYED WARRIOR"]Not a word said to nathan brown !

Should make for a good boxing match in a few weeks

There was a little bit of afters in that tackle but there was no elbow or upper arm it was just alittle late and with what was being dished out by the GAINTS EARLY ON to our boys makes it a nonsense to singal it out! Also after the match on SKY TV Eddy Hemmings suggested Nathan Brown fielded a weekened team ? This was after the match had been discribed as the best and hardest fought match at the MAGIC WEEKEND He is so biased against Wigan it shows, if SAINTS ,LEEDS or wonderful Warrington had been involved he would have been going on and on and on and on of how brilliant they were, this man makes me sick

The effect of his comments could actually be for referees to be looking out for dirty play from certain Huddersfield players and they may even get penalised more as a result. Unlikely but you never know.
Gareth Thomas before his first game: "You wanna spend 10 mins getting smashed up by these guys..Big dudes here.."
