LAST PLACE ON SALARY CAP COULD BE ANOTHER PROP
LAST PLACE ON SALARY CAP COULD BE ANOTHER PROP
This is just a rumour, but I was told that we could be looking for another big prop. What super league club did Baily sign for in the Northwest? he stated early in the NRL season he had signed for a Super League club in the Northwest. We all thought it was Stains but they have signed Mc Carthey Scarsbrook. Fielding and Coley have been offered only a one year contract each for next year.
Re: LAST PLACE ON SALARY CAP COULD BE ANOTHER PROP
only way i can see us getting another prop is if Fielden or Coley were to leave.
cant see us going (or affording) four front line props next year - plus Prescott, O'Carroll and Davies
and also Mossop who can cover/move up to the front row.
Or do we sign McCarthey Scarbrough on a four year deal with just a small wage in the first year while we keep coley for another season

St Helens have signed Scarsbrook
Re: LAST PLACE ON SALARY CAP COULD BE ANOTHER PROP
Scarsbrook is not Wigan material. He's an average player in a mediocre team.

Re: LAST PLACE ON SALARY CAP COULD BE ANOTHER PROP
read somewhere that we have made an offer to a certain prop who likes to STRUT his stuff out on the pitch, supposedly he is looking to FEATHER his nest with one last decent cotract
Re: LAST PLACE ON SALARY CAP COULD BE ANOTHER PROP
His career is TAILing off, IMO, but he'd be COCK-a-hoop if he did get a deal here...medlocke wrote:read somewhere that we have made an offer to a certain prop who likes to STRUT his stuff out on the pitch, supposedly he is looking to FEATHER his nest with one last decent cotract
