He was brilliant. Looked like the prop he's always promised to be. Smashed em everywhere. Hopefully hitting form right on time!!!!

Agree, think we were aware that Fielden would be targeted so Madge gave him the job as first man in and it paid off.

Definitely surprised me tonight. Never been his biggest fan because of the silly mistakes he is capable. But he really stepped up to the plate tonight!

That said, did ANYONE let the side down? I don't think so!

BTW, last year, people laughed at us when Deacs was our only signing.
Who's laughing now????

Stepped up in a big way tonight - one of his best games.

Played without fear. Always looks nervous but not tonight thankfully.

Looking forward to his progress next year along with Mossop.

I too have criticised him because of his loose carries etc, I was asking the telly why he had been selcted when the team was announced but tonight the lad was immense. Fantastic game.

Got a hit on his knee, was ice packed
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Nah, they've probably been feeding him raw meat and blood pies. Whilst Pat was the official MOTM, Preccy surely should have been in the frame for last night's performance.

With Fielden, Coley and Preccy in such hot form and adding in Jeff Lima to the mix, we are going to have a white hot pack for next year.
