It was a great game and yesterday's game shows the improvements made both in the squad and backroom staff.

The attitude was there, the defense was there and the desire was there. The only concern for me is that I hope Deacs is fit for next week, because we really need his kicking game because we can't keep kicking down Wellens's throat or we'll pay - big time!!!

TBH - This season has surpassed my expectations and I'll be there next week.

Do we have enough in us to win next week? I don't know because this'll be something different to the rest of the games this season - we have to play probably one of the most emotionally charged games going - from what I imagine the team selection could be, it'll be Piggy and Feka's last game in Wigan colours next week and it's Cunningham's last game full stop. So, all bets are off.

As an aside to this, Pat Richards for Man of Steel and Madge for Coach Of The Year.

Can't think of anyone else they could give it to really. Only Nathan Brown is anywhere near and I'd say Madge's achievement is far greater having worked with the exact same squad as last year!
