Just seen the football results on BBC. They showed the pitch as players were leaving...

It is absolutely trashed.

Nonsense. The pitch is perfect. Not a blade of grass out of place. It only officially becomes a shit heap after the 27th!

It's in their best interest to keep it that way. Levels the playing field, so to speak.

so when we start playing again, how long will it take for the latic fans and commentators on sky to blame us for wrecking the pitch? and the big debate of should a top flight rugby league and football team (well for now) be allowed to play at same ground? haha

Heard the comments on the Beeb at final whistle and the pitch was described as a "cabbage patch".

I have no doubt whatsoever we will hear more about the standard/state of the pitch in the coming few weeks.

Yes, I inadvertently caught the match on MOTD this Sunday morning and was appalled by what the Latics are doing to OUR pitch. The sooner they are back in the Lancashire Combination where they belong the better.
