Mark Flannagan ?

Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

Mark Flannagan ?

Post by cpwigan »

Rumours in one of the Monday RL Papers linking him with Widnes for 2012. Would you re sign him for Wigan?

I'd take a chance on Flash. All that time in the NRL can't have done his game any harm. And he weren't a bad player to begin with!

Has he failed in the NRL?

He is stuck in the NSW Reserve Team this season. A couple of Aus backrowers have jumped ahead of him.

I would resign him if he became available. I thought he was progressing nicely before he left.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

so do I Josie. He had a run or 8 or 9 games and showed quality. Really good defence puts in plenty of tackles and seems to have good hands and footwork. He was a little lightweight but that can be solved.

Sign him up for mine.

Flash is one of those players who i was really pleased to hear was making it in the NRL, he was getting some "big raps" as they say and was good defensively.

Its a real shame if he has dropped down the pecking order but there is always someone out there better than you !
Than me? Doubt it fella!

Would sign him in a heartbeat, would give us even more depth in our back rowers, some of the shots he would put on in defence were immense, I've seen him play a couple of times for Wests and he was no where near out of his depth, can hang with the best of them.
