Saints sign Lance Hohaia!!!
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure
Re: Saints sign Lance Hohaia!!!
Agree hes a very good signing but not sure I would have given him 4 years, isnt he playing most of his rugby at fullback though these days? Also with Lomax and Gaskell running so well where does this leave them, that said this pairing is yet to be tested against a top 4 club I suppose.
Re: Saints sign Lance Hohaia!!!
good signing with wellens ageing and lomax and gaskell still a bit green his experience in key roles will be just what saints need
Re: Saints sign Lance Hohaia!!!
Great signing - but if it were us I would be a bit worried about 4 years for a 28 year old.

Re: Saints sign Lance Hohaia!!!
Read a quote where he hasn't played half back in the NRL and he personally thinks it's his best position... it seems coaches think otherwise after a decade of playing fullback
it'd be like sticking radlinski at 6
"I've always considered myself to play well in that position and I haven't had the opportunity to do that NRL level.

Based on his FB experience, and the fact that my 87 year old Grandma could outrun Wellens, I bet Lomax and Gaskell don't care.Kittwazzer wrote:Bet Lomax and Gaskell feel ten feet tall with this news!

Like Brett Hodgson I dont think Hohaia will be too far off speed even at 32. Some players seem to keep fit even with age and I think he will still be up there for Superleague standards.Matthew wrote:Great signing - but if it were us I would be a bit worried about 4 years for a 28 year old.
As you say, great signing.
