Ex prop forwards as head coaches???
Ex prop forwards as head coaches???
Whilst sitting watching another uninspired performance from the Rhinos last night I tried to remember an ex prop who has been a successful head coach and I'm struggling. Could Shaun Wane be the exception????

Not sure this post should be here - general RL topics?
Anyway, I've been scratching my head wondering what's happened to Leeds.
The only thing I can think is the appointment of Brian McDermott.
When Leed's appointed him I raised my eyebrows. Nowt wrong with the guy but hardly a top Super League coach.

Not surprised he doesn't want to be there the way the team are playing.the winky one wrote:Just mentioned this on another post...sometimes he looks like he doesn't want to be there..hardly fills you with confidenceBriH wrote:Not sure this post should be here - general RL topics?

He doesn't throw wild passes, allow prop forwards to make fifth tackle kicks, or drop the ball in front of his own posts.

Not a prop, but here's another front rower who fancies giving it a go:
