Whilst sitting watching another uninspired performance from the Rhinos last night I tried to remember an ex prop who has been a successful head coach and I'm struggling. Could Shaun Wane be the exception????

Not sure this post should be here - general RL topics?
Anyway, I've been scratching my head wondering what's happened to Leeds.
The only thing I can think is the appointment of Brian McDermott.
When Leed's appointed him I raised my eyebrows. Nowt wrong with the guy but hardly a top Super League coach.

Just mentioned this on another post...sometimes he looks like he doesn't want to be there..hardly fills you with confidence

Not surprised he doesn't want to be there the way the team are playing.
He doesn't throw wild passes, allow prop forwards to make fifth tackle kicks, or drop the ball in front of his own posts.

Not a prop, but here's another front rower who fancies giving it a go:

Karl Harrison was a prop. Being successful is another matter :eh:
