They came with a plan to knock us off our game. Luckily, on this occasion, they failed.

I shall reserve further comment till I've watched it again. At present I'm bloody fuming!

I may be wrong, and please tell me after you've watched it... But were any more than 10% of their passes backwards?

Dirty cheatin Leeds scum. High tackles, chicken wings, holding down, milking penalties at every opportunity, offside, not square. Alibert was absolutely dire tonight and it was a great result under the circumstances. They were allowed 3 times longer than us in the tackle. Half the time he was shouting move before we'd even got hold of them properly and how is Sam meant to get square when they move forward 2 yards after playing the ball? Utter bollocks. So pleased with those two points!!

We turned too much ball over and invited them to spend lots of time in our 20. Mistakes really hurt our game plan. Leeds had a few ploys, the ingoal grubbers worked well and obstructing Pat worked well (referees!!) We only played well for 20 minutes after half time. Still it is a win albeit a tad lacky and if we follow it up with another on Weds we are top.

I presume some players such as Faz and perhaps a Goulding/Marsh along with Hocky will get a game v Cas. Will Deacs play 2 games so close together? Give Mellor an opportunity or drop Tommy back and give Logan a game?

Ben Jones Bishop has plenty of potential IMO for Leeds and England.

As I said, I'm reserving comment. Had I not been, Andy and Gaz would have echoed my current thoughts.

PS Still fuming!

Some of theirs should have been penalties to us for offside as the recipient was in front of the passer. We got lucky with 1 try though.

Peacock is finished IMO at the highest level, nowhere near the player he was in past seasons.

Deacon was also very poor and I'm not surprised he got taken off, I think Madge needs to leave him out against Cas and I really hope he doesn't just stick Lockers at 6. It's a big squad and he should use it.

It's a shame that Prescott got injured, he was looking like our best prop only to hobble off straight from the kick off in the second half. I think Hock should replace him at prop and Farrell should come in for Tuson. Our 3 remaining props having to work extra hard doesn't help when there's a midweek game though.

O'Loughlin would be my man of the match.
Finch had a very good game IMO. Some of his touches such as delayed passes are pure class.

Gareth will be playing against Castleford on Wednesday :)
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
