How on earth they held Saints out for those constant sets of six is quite remarkable, I think that is mostly what won us the game in the end.Knutsford pie man wrote:Couldn't agree more! Nerves gone.

And isn't Ian Millward the most odious little man ever?
there was always a fair bit of spite and bile from him regarding Wigan.and he seemed to take it to a new level
I fume every time I see him.

Re: A case for defence m'lud
Was awesome defence although the Saints attack wasn't much, but still... eventually and inevitably Meli kept at it and it worked for their scores.
Can't wait to see the stats on Monday for tackles.

I don't know why you say that Winky, Millward was a speaker at a Lancashire Rugby Federation do we were at & had nothing but praise for Wigan.the winky one wrote: And isn't Ian Millward the most odious little man ever?

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: Phew!!
When he was at Saints he had plenty to say about Wigans spending and their salary cap,in fact Maurice Lindsay asked if he had a part time job on Blackpool prom as a fortune teller because he seemed to know so much about the clubs finances..I've hated him ever sinceKittwazzer wrote:I can't recall him saying anything untoward either!josie andrews wrote:I don't know why you say that Winky, Millward was a speaker at a Lancashire Rugby Federation do we were at & had nothing but praise for Wigan.the winky one wrote: And isn't Ian Millward the most odious little man ever?

Re: Phew!!
He may have done before he came to Wigan, but every bugger else thought bad of us. He soon changed his mind about us & said if anything, the club was very naive when it came to the salary cap & how to use it!the winky one wrote:When he was at Saints he had plenty to say about Wigans spending and their salary cap,in fact Maurice Lindsay asked if he had a part time job on Blackpool prom as a fortune teller because he seemed to know so much about the clubs finances..I've hated him ever sinceKittwazzer wrote:I can't recall him saying anything untoward either!josie andrews wrote: I don't know why you say that Winky, Millward was a speaker at a Lancashire Rugby Federation do we were at & had nothing but praise for Wigan.![]()

Went out at night for a few drinks and I was high as kite.
Watched it again and enjoyed it knowing the score but still tense.
Ganson wants to get his eyes tested.
