3 missing tries

Post by onedego »

So that was a good scoreline. Really flattered Salford in my opinion.

Can anyone tell me though, perhaps a reason other than a bent plonker in goal jobs-worth, why those (what looked to us) perfectly good 3 tries, were disallowed? I'm stumped.

Also, what happened for (precky) to get put on report?

To me, Hicks and the rest of the officials totally, completely and utterly lost it.

Also, what was going on with the scoreboard? At one point it showed WWRL 42 - SCR 40... Praps everyone was distracted by them flashy adboards

It was Mossop on report.... He shoved the Salford winger after he put the ball down is the only thing I can think it was for. As for the chalked of scores....not a clue as I was a long way off with no specs

Think Hoffs was for forward pass (it wasn't), though the pass for Joel's try, which was given, was miles forward!

Either the ref was very poor or he was evening things up after his earlier mistake.

Thought it was funny when Josh scored and the ref went to draw a square in the air and then did a kind of double take when he realised there was no big screen
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

He was stopping the clock to talk to his touchjudge.

Hansen knocked on which was why that wasnt given.

Goulding try, ref said it was a forward pass, was sat in south stand myself so couldnt see. Finchy was going mad about it not being given though.

O'Loughlin try, i have no idea. Apparently he was short because they played 4th tackle on the line. But he was well over the line and if anything held up, which would have been 4th tackle on the 10 meter line. Poor decision that one.

You don't draw a square in the air to stop the clock and a big chunk of the crowd burst out laughing so assume they thought the same as me

Everyone where I am sat, East stand, were shouting "go to the screen", as he almost made his 'square' in the air
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

the wife thought exactly the same thing! Stopped the clock, then began to draw a screen.

Totally lost his marbles!
