Re: BRING BACK CRAIG SMITH...
All joking aside.
Davico will not play again this season.
WERE IN THE trouble AND NEED A QUALITY SIGNING URGENTLY.
CRAIG SMITH OR A MASSIVE CHEQUE FROM MAURICE AND BIG DAVE FOR A NEW PROP.

Re: BRING BACK CRAIG SMITH...
I'M SURE ROB WAS BEING QUITE SINCERE!!!
7months it said he was out for, an if he is out for all season, in my opinion we should terminate his contract and sign a new prop because otherwise hes taking up a valuble spot in the 20 over £20k, and that money could be put to better use! It will be a shame if it comes to that because he seems like a good guy whos just been really unlucky!

Re: BRING BACK CRAIG SMITH...
But we need a prop and we need on quick.
Danny sculthorpe will not last for 30 min spells on the pitch continually without getting injured.
Faz already injured.
BIG PROBLEM WITH THE GO FORWARD AND COULD BE DOWN TO ONE EXPERIENCED PROP SOON.
BEFORE THE SEASON HAS STARTED THIS IS NOT ENOUGH.
WE COULD DO WITH FOUR PROPS REALLY.

It's as if you've got some disturbing disorder that medication is helping to keep under control. Usually you SHOUT YOUR ENTIRE MESSAGE but now you're on the road to recovery and are just SHOUTING the ODD word.TRICKY DICKY posted:

He just likes to be obnoxious and try to prove people wrong I think.
Anyway from what I made from Maurice's comments, once they learn the full extent of the injury, Davico could be on his way out of the door should it be a long term injury, he originally signed for us last june, just before he tore his pec the 1st time, but Maurice went off the medical teams advice and trusted their advice when they said it will take 6 months, here read for yourself.
Wigan are still waiting for the result of a consultant's
report before deciding on what course of action to take
Lindsay will meet with the injured player to discuss what to do next after the specialist's report has been made available and digested early next week.
Wigan had agreed terms with Davico before he damaged his chest Down Under.
Lindsay added: "We actually signed Luke in June last year, several weeks before he
injured the muscle in August.
"We relied on the medical
advice given to us at the time and this was that he would take six months to fully recover.
"He has had the six months, but clearly the injury has not stood up to the test of a full contact match.
"The lad has been desperately unlucky and it's a real shame because otherwise he's very fit and a genuinely likeable
character who has gone down a storm with the youngsters and the rest of the players since he arrived.
"But it's not looking good."
