Super League Show

Post by dave t »

Having watched the highlights of the super league show I now tend to agree with our manager.
The defence at times was very poor ie Fincy dropped off Stefan Marsh, and Ben Flowers and Harrison Hanson both missed tackles close to our line for three of their tries.
Both Mellor(1 try) and Russell(2 tries)scored and seemed to be playing well so I dont see how we can blame all the young lads for the defeat, surely some of our regulars should take the blame.
I also thought Stefan Marsh had a great game and may prove a point when we shipped him off to Widnes and kept Jack Hughes here.

I'd agree with that. He made a big point on Sunday. Never seems to have been rated by people on here!

It happened in the first half as well as the second so it had nothing to do with fatigue, it was just three senior players lacking discipline when they should have been leading by example.

Given that at least 2 or 3 Widnes tries could have been ruled out I think Wane was correct when he said we were good enough to win.
The lack of two points and our league position would tend to disagree with you.

I disagree Exile, some senior players should hold their hands up.IMO the young players did not let us down.
