What made it all the more pleasing was having players push up in support when Gaz gets the ball. How often under Noble did we see players standing around whenever Gaz got the ball? Hock would then get criticised for 'silly offloads'.

His fitness is the best it has ever been. He looks bigger and stronger than I can ever recall. His skill set has always been outstanding for a player so big and so strong.

I firmly believe Hock (along with Lockers)is one of the most talented forwards we've ever produced at the club. He has the potential to be whatever he wants to be on the World stage. On his day, there isn't a back rower in Super League I'd take over Gaz Hock.

A world-class player who MUST play for England this year.
You're not far wrong, he's getting better each time he plays. Looks like the lay off did him good.

I don't care how well he is playing, he should have been hung out to dry for making one silly mistake in his career!????

He is world class and so glad he plays for us irrelevant of anything else!

He is playing well and looks very strong in attack. Still needs to work on his discipline though.

His form has certainly kept his knockers quiet, the ones who said he should never wear the Cherry & White shirt again.
With his head on the game and with the physical condition he now has, he is showing that potential to be as good as any back row forward in Rugby League.

Like you Eccy, I've always beleived Gaz Hock is a special talent, hopefully the effort WWRLFC have put in to get him back on track mentally will benefit the club. First signs are looking good so far.

Gaz Hock is definetely back. He looks very fit and strong and is looking excellent both in attack and defence. He's only going to keep getting better as well which is a massive bonus to the team.

IMO on his day there is no better second rower in super league. I thought Hoffman was superb last season and I thought we would struggle to replace him but Hock has really stepped up and taken the Hoffs place with ease.

Should be interesting to see what kind of treatment he cops for from the Wolves on Friday seeing as it will be his first meeting with them since the gouging incident. Will be a real test of his discipline.

A special talent. He was awesome before his ban and he is awesome now. In the team set up he offers physical presence bordering on intimidation and a very special ability to offload in the tackle. Those talents are vital to this team just as the tackling effort of Hansen on the other side is equally so. At the end of the day, it is the sum of all the parts coming together = success. Hocky worked dammned hard on fitness, on everything re his ban BUT nothing beats match fitness (playing). He will get better as the season progresses.
