Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

Anthony Laffranchi Dangerous tackle in 59th minute.

Law 15.1(d) Detail: Places in a dangerous position and reaches the ground in a dangerous position Grade: B MRP - Referred to tribunal

Paul Wellens Dangerous tackle in 7th minute

Law: 15.1(d) Detail: Dangerous tackle Grade: B MRP - Referred to tribunal

I just wonder if they get a ban???

Only Wellens on the charge sheet. So one has got away with it. Mr squeeky clean will get a caution for his exemplary record.

Wellens is appealing against his ban. Unlike him to question a decision.
Not sure about Lafranche.
“Usually the fans that abuse players like Sam have never done anything of any note themselves. They’re nobodies, whose greatest claim to fame is abusing someone who has, and these so-called ‘Eddie the Experts’ pretend to their mates that they have."

Yeah I heard that, hope he gets an extra match but knowing him with being a Saints player he'll get off with it & he's tackle was worse than Lauaki's!

Both will be over turned on appeal...

Interviewer: So that obviously means that you're not going to St Helens and you're not going to Leeds?

Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds

Saints Without Banned Duo

St Helens will be without captain Paul Wellens and prop forward Anthony Laffranchi for the Good Friday derby with Wigan after both players were handed one-match bans.

They were cited by the Rugby Football League's match-review panel for dangerous tackles during Saints' 28-16 win at Warrington and have been found guilty of the offences when they appeared in front of the RFL's disciplinary committee in Leeds.

They were also fined £300
