is it something along the lines of 'entrance of the gladiator' or 'ride of the valkyri' ? otherwise no ideas

I notice (happily) that they're still using Conquest of Paradise amongst the various pre-match tunes. Still sends a shiver up my spine, that music.

it,s called the flight of the valkeries not sure if thats the right spelling . it,s by some russian composer and was used as the theme tune for american football when it was on c4.

my local football team uses fanfare for the common man by emerson,lake & palmer which is quite good . i remember this being no.1 in the charts when i was at school in the mid to late seventies
