Ok ok. I may get shot down for this but I wouldn't mind. It was only a year ago that many people were commenting on how well he teamed up with Tommy for the exiles and what a good player he was.
Now we all know of his off field incident and he certainly ain't playing anything like at the moment but........
He's playing in a Cas side that really are rubbish at the moment and has just publicly stated that he admires how we play and would be silly not to consider offers.
For me it's a form/class debate. He is on his day a very exciting maverick type player who lets be honest has been keeping Cas on a par for a long time now. His form has dipped and look how badly it's affected Cas at present.
What I really don't know is if he's the type of player to fit into our system as at Cas he's the leader and the team is built around him. At Wigan it would be very different.
The lad's obviously not happy where he is and I think a more professional set up around him, taking the direct pressure from him a bit could return him to the type of player we have seen causing real problems for defences.
I for one would not be unhappy if he signed but it would have to be on our own terms and not silly money.

NO
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

IMO he is a very good player, its just that he isnt consistent and he believes his own hype.
if anyone could sort him out im sure Shaun is the man, either that or put him on his backside!!!

No. If we are having to spend that sort of money then let it be for a world class player not for a lone star who stands out in a very average side. Someone has said in another post that we still have the 250 k we got for Joel which got me thinking - if Joel was only worth 250k then who in the world thinks Rangi is worth 350 k plus 2 players ??????????? :craz:
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

I'm torn to be honest. He's an exciting player, and i think he'd fit in. There are concerns though.
My main issue is, who else is there!??? Youngsters aren't first team ready, and other NRL names are really really long shots... It's almost like he's the best of a bad bunch.

I'm not agreeing nor disagreeing. But my question is, if you disagree so much as to use such larger lettering, who would YOU pick? There's some big boots to fill, and while I'm skeptical about Chase and even Brough (being the 2 names banded around)... I don't see any other viable alternative.bourbon_rat wrote:NO :exc:

The question is simple: Yes or no?wiganwarriordave wrote:I'm not agreeing nor disagreeing. But my question is, if you disagree so much as to use such larger lettering, who would YOU pick?
