''Apologies again for the lack of updates. I hope to do a season review article later this week but that will probably be that as far as I'm concerned on here. I'm thoroughly disillusioned with this game at the moment, so much so I'm not even convinced I want to buy a season ticket next year. How sad is that! I've felt this way for weeks as I've made clear partcularly on my twitter account. The regular season has become dull to attend live and watch on tv, never mind report on it on here.
I'm hoping the site will continue beyond this season, but at the moment I don't think I have the will to do this anymore. So I shall decide what I want to do with it, in my own time!
Thanks for 11 years of support.
Bilko.''
Think he has a point.

I can personally understand where he is coming from and WF nothing could be further from the truth than your assertion. The guy like Mike here hs put a great deal of time and effort into creating a fantastic site whilst supporting Wigan at every age level.
Re: Bilko.
Its strange but I have had conversations with quite a few people these last few months and they seem to be in similar frames of mind to Bilko. I have some doubts as to which way the game is heading at the moment, dont know why or what can be done to change it but the lads I speak to are people who know rugby and who's opinions I respect and it does worry me that we all seem to be thinking the same way.

They cannot be proper fans! True fans are the ones that turn out every week at Bradford even though they are going through a crisis, the fans of lower clubs that turn out every week at clubs that have no chance of coming up

You are waaaay off the mark. How can you make a comment like that about someone you know nothing about??Warriors Forever wrote:Well good riddance to him, no time for idiots like that
He is a fantastic fella & a great Wigan supporter.
The work he does on RLFans, Cherry & White, the updates he gives us, his knowledge of what is happening or going on at the club his reviews, not only on the first team but also for the academy teams are as good if not better than professional ones.
I for one would miss him & his updates

I have felt the exact same this year, mainly due to personal circumstances, but a lot to do with how the game is run & officiated

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I have removed my post stating good riddance, i know nothing of him i just feel strongly about people deserting the game , at the moment it feels like a dying sport and that cannot happen

Well if you can't see how our great game is being ruined & sanitised by the few people who run it you are very easily satisfied.Warriors Forever wrote:But we are all fans of Wigan Rugby Josie and i for one will never turn my back on this fantastic game ! I started watching fifty years ago, & the game has changed beyond recognition.
We continually try to copy everything the Aussies do & are unsuccessful!
Get back to playing English rugby - that's when we used to beat the Aussies & in their own backyard too.
