Hull KR Cup Date Confirmed

Post by josie andrews »

Wigan Warriors Tetley's Challenge Cup Round 5 tie away at Hull KR will take place at MS 3 Craven park on Sunday 12th May 2013 with a 3pm kick off, ticket and travel details will be announced in due course.

Speaking about the draw, Head Coach Shaun Wane told us,

"This is going to be a real tough game for us, I thought they were outstanding against St Helens in the last round and the game we played there on Easter Monday will have no bearing on this game, they are a quality team especially with Michael Dobson and Corey Patterson, they have some big game players and I have alot of respect for Hull KR.

"We won't look at the last meeting at all when preparing for the game, we will look for sure at their wins over St Helens, two good performances. This is a tough draw, our preparation will be spot on, we will stop over the night before and give ourselves every chance to win the game."

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Double damn if it is, but I think the premier league finishes the week after. Otherwise I may have to get a cup and long piece of string out and hope someone will take one end to Hull with them - or maybe twitter will be easier!

Will George be playing, or is he cup-tied?

Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they're injured. Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not.
