Re: Hull or Warrington in Final?
I think on our day we could beat either team but for a spectacle and a fuller house i'd like to face Hull and a repeat of 1985.
Seeing Wire there recently is a bit annoying

Either will be a big test at Wembley but I like the historical reference selling point of Wigan v Hull. If it did happen the RFL / BBC should go to town on it and pay / invite Kenny / Sterling over. Even better as many from both teams as possible. John Fergusson 'carrying his leg' would be great. Saw Henderson Gill at our last home game on a crutch.

Of course we all want Hull.

Hope not rolled over my win today over on to this, Hull win will get me a nice £20 of my boss
Re: Hull or Warrington in Final?
Hull easier game than Wire
But Wire and Wigan is a massive game and a final that the game really needs. But my heart does not.

Re: Hull or Warrington in Final?
With a strong squad available, we'd beat either, but playing wire could produce a sellout.

I think it would be closer to a sell out if Hull were there. They have more/better support than Wire.mario wrote:With a strong squad available, we'd beat either, but playing wire could produce a sellout.
Re: Hull or Warrington in Final?
I agree with the 1985 reference...however, do you think either the BBC and/or the RFL have the brains to sell it (assuming, of course it is Hull)in the way you describe it?cpwigan wrote:Either will be a big test at Wembley but I like the historical reference selling point of Wigan v Hull. I do hope you're right though. It would be a wonderful spectacle.
