FREE PREDS LEAGUE 2014 - Huddersfield Preds NOW OPEN

May be a bit last minute but who'd want to do the preds league this year? It'll be free but I'd suggest a small donation (min. £1) to this site.

I'd be happy to keep score and probably suggest new scoring criteria (eg no coaches MOM). Any thoughts?

what about the usual of:
- 1st and last try scorer
- attendance
- total points in game

We could have a 'Joker' where points can be doubled in a week you want it (can only be used twice) and use the Joker whilst predicting.

- Predict the winner of each other fixture that week (2 points for correct, 10 for a draw)
- Wigan's final league position (predict at the start upto week 3)
- extra ones for Magic, Challenge Cup, random ones too

If anyone agree's or disagree's just say, I understand lack of time but Preds may open 7pm tonight upto kickoff tomorrow.

I have made a few changes to the scoring points, refresh it a bit and in my opinion have left out the coaches MOM due to possible bias and other unfair factors - instead we shall use the League Express ratings (Albert Goldthorpe) using the top ranked Wigan player as MOM - If Wigan don't have any in the top 3 I shall use this site's player voting (found after each match on the forums)

1st try scorer - (backs) 15 points (forward) 20 points
last try scorer - (backs) 15 points (forward) 20 points

attendance:
- exact = 50 points
+- 50 people = 25 points
+- 100 people = 15 points
+- 500 people = 5 points

Man of Match - 25 points

Joker (J) - to be used Twice in the season - double your total points

Match score (total points):
exact = 25 points
+- 4 = 15 points
+- 8 = 10 points
+- 12 = 5 points

Super League Fixture Winners (predict the winner of other matches that round)
Correct pred = 5 points
drawn score = 10 points
