Hock in Trouble Again

Post by Shaun1967 »

On a charge of making deliberate contact with an official....again.
Possible 4 - 8 match ban.

Reading that report, if he has 'collided' with the referee, it doesn't sound like 'deliberate' contact. IMO

Think they're using Hock to make an example of.... Again
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Well he deserves more than 8 matches for that quite frankly - this is the 3rd time isn't it? You cannot make an excuse for that even if you said he was off balance he makes no effort to "catch" the official which is naturally what you do if you collide with someone he clearly pushes him down

Idiot you cannot defend him anymore too many chances he is a tool of the highest order will be in jail before the age of 40 guaranteed

Just watched in on SL Fulltime and it does appear that he's got a case to answer, rather than being made an example of. He might get benefit of the doubt but it could go either way.

Think he's looking at 8 matches if it goes against him but Salfords season is over so it doesn't matter really.

That is my view also having seen it. He may be given the benefit of the doubt but if not I'd expect at least 6 if not the full 8 matches given he has been found guilty of this offence previously.

Even if people felt he was hard done by last time, he was found guilty so like Dudson got more than the minimum for a repeat offense Hock must know he is looking at long holiday.

That is weird. He changes his angle to hit the official. I can only imagine that he was trying to run past but got it wrong like when ou are walking towards seomone on the pavement and you keep going the same way as them, but its a funny way to get it wrong in this case and then he fully shoulder charges him and keeps going.

It will be interesting to see if there had been any issue with him and the ref earlier in the game. If there was he's giong to get the book thrown at him. If not it might have beed a weird accident, but because of the change of direction it looks like he will get a ban even then.

Sorry couldn't get the link to work, it's not good that is it?
I'm not good with computer speak, I just was lucky to remember how someone told me how to do the url stuff.
Hock could be in for a big rest depending on how the officials interpret this.
